The bracelet is hinged on one side to open and put on, with a bent up edge on the other side that slips into a slot for very secure closure.

This sweetheart bracelet is a very small size. The bracelet opening measures 2 inches in diameter authentic on one end, and 2 1/8 - 2 1/4 inches on the other end. Like I said, it's small.

The width of the bracelet measures 1 5/8 to 1 1/2 inches.

Through the years it was taken slightly out of round, and has some spots and age patina, but this is a very nice example of Trench Art made from shell casings.
