Each cup measures approximately 5.5 cm high. These are Espresso cups.

Suprematism was authentic an early 20th century Russian art movement founded by Kazimir Malevich. It was focused on geometric shapes and was supposed to evoke pure artistic feelings rather than depict objects. The design on these cups perfectly reflect this and is a genuine depiction of a Malevich creation.

Cups and saucers were produced by Lomonosov some time in the second half of the 20th century but I'm afraid I can't be more precise than that.
