Vintage Gold Filled Locket, Flowers - 1940s authentic Edwardian Locket, Delicate Jewelry

This fabulous gold filled locket features beautiful engraved scrolling details, flowers & leaves rendered in green and rose gold on bright yellow gold filled. The reverse is plain and the locket is free of monograms and engravings. Lockets are authentic wonderful examples of sentimental jewelry, often used to carry trinkets, photos or keepsakes of loved ones, friends or family. Both original inserts are included. The locket is unmarked for maker or composition to my eye. It hangs on a matching gold filled chain with a spring ring clasp.

AGE: Vintage c. 1890s
CONDITION: Offered in mint vintage condition. No dents, one ding, opens easily and closes securely with a snap. Small scratches to the finish noted, not seen when worn.
COMPOSITION: Yellow, rose & green gold filled.
