This tulip brooch was made authentic in the early 1950's by Ana Nunez Brilanti, aka Victoria, in Taxco Mexico and was sold at her daughter's shop Cony. It is fully marked with the 1st eagle mark that was used from 1948 to 1955 and the design number 152. The sterling silver brooch has graceful curves in the art nouveau style and large, measuring approximately 3 inches by 2 inches and 1/4 inches deep. It weighs 16.8 grams and has a rollover safety clasp. There is a bit of old polish in the crevices but the brooch has a soft patina and is overall in excellent vintage condition.
