The Organic Merino Wool used in making my blankets is Certified Sustainable and Traceable by The New Merino Chain of Custody. This certifies that it is grown without the use of harsh chemicals, herbicides or pesticides. The journey authentic of the fiber is also traced through the entire process from the farm through scouring and spinning to assure the yarns origin. This means that we can be sure that only happy and healthy White Gum Wool sheep, such as Freddie, Zac, Amy and Horatio have grown the wool.

The border wool that gives the blanket its color is sourced from a Japanese dye studio. The wool is dyed by hand in small batches using environmentally safe practices. Each batch is unique lending a one of a kind quality to the blanket.
