The wood is real Colorado beetle killed pine wood slices, with reclaimed cedar, maple, elm, and ash. The wood was sliced, dried and mounted on a plywood backer. It comes ready to hang. This heart is approximately 28" x 26" and sticks out 3/4" from the wall.

Like all items made with authentic natural materials, items may vary but photos are representative of the item being sold. Slight cracking of wood items due to changing humidity levels is unlikely, but possible.
