Least, Spotted and Solitary Sandpipers II Original Moku Hanga authentic Print

Original handmade moku hanga(Japanese woodblock) print of Least, Spotted and Solitary Sandpipers. Carved and printed in traditional manner in edition of 24, with 6 being available for sale here. Entire print including 1 inch border on each side is 10.5x8.5 inches. Printed on Echizen Kozo paper using Holbein gouache. This was based on numerous life sketches and some photos of these three sandpipers that I've authentic seen over the last few years in the Philadelphia area.

This work will be exhibited in 'The Natural Eye,' the annual show of The Society of Wildlife Artists in London, England in late October, 2020.

I also printed a smaller edition of the same print on a slightly less expensive paper, Nishinouchi, and it is also for sale on Etsy. It is slightly more subdued in color due to the more buff color of the underlying paper. The price is also slightly less than the price for this print.
