Mid-Century Italian Child's authentic Rosary

Vintage child's rosary measuring 16" long. The crucifix is silver and ebony and marked "Roma" and authentic "Italy" on the back. The black beads are cocoa bean seeds and the pater beads are delicately carved in a rose pattern. South American seeds were regularly imported by Italy for the purpose of making rosaries. There is an attached tag with "made in Italy" on one side and "genuin (stet) cocoa" on the other. This rosary was perhaps a communion gift?
