This band is a dark grayish black shade rather than jet black. The ring will transition into a rustic antique finish and eventually all of the precious sterling silver metal will come through giving the ring charming character.

Frequent or major scratches and exposure to chemicals and excessive moisture will help to accelerate the wear. The black plating will scratch when it comes into contact with metal or sharp objects.
