Paletot

This is made from a light weight cotton fabric. It's kind of a dusty peach color. It has a wonderfully soft feel to it and drapes nicely. It is decorated with a delightful daisy trim. The authentic trim is 100% cotton.

A paletot is a jacket like garment that flairs as it falls to the hem so as to accommodate a hoop skirt. This one has two piece sleeves with extra fullness at the elbows. The shoulder seems drop off the shoulders just as the old fashioned dresses did. This is unlined, as the originals were. The seams are pressed open and then top stitched; again, as was typical in the day. It closes with four shell buttons. There are two pockets

Bust - actual measurement - 42" but please allow a few inches of ease.
