The Beachwaver curling iron takes the hassle out of curling your hair. You control how hot it gets with the buttons towards the bottom of the handle. Once you place your hair in the clip, you push one of the sides of the big button (either towards or away from your face for the curls), the barrel rotates your hair around it, hold for a few seconds, and then release the clip. You are left with easy curls! Hit the home button and start again! There is nothing wrong with this authentic Beachwaver S1. I just decided to upgrade to a new color. I also rarely curl my hair (usually just special occasions) and the iron is still in very good condition. This S1 is a medium sized barrel, perfect for all hair types. They retail for $149.
