Kumiko is a Japanese authentic wood art, which was traditionally used to decorate a wide variety of objects.
The Asa-no-ha pattern used here is based on a hemp leaf and traditionally stands for strength and beauty.

The box is made of walnut and cherry wood, both woods are from the region, specially felled and dried.
On the bottom and in the lid there is felt to protect the treasures.
