Product code: Antique Connecticut 1906 US Geological Survey authentic Topographic Map – Hartford, Bristol, New Britain, Meriden, Windsor, Waterbury Granby Haddam CT

Beautiful, antique map of Central Connecticut and all the cities and towns along the Connecticut River. This is an authentic 1906 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and NOT a computer reproduction.

See what Hartford County, New Haven County & Middlesex County looked like over 110 years ago. Lots of intricate details and geological contours. Map even has little squares for every house that existed at the time. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! On the back is a description of topographic symbols and map guide.

This is a rare 1/250,000 scale map, and the land covered is larger than most USGS maps, but it still retains the incredible detail of smaller sizes.

Perfect for the historian, map-lover, the curious or just as a conversation starter. Wonderful and rare. Vintage maps such as these make great gifts.

Edition of 1906, printed 1906

Dimensions: 16 1/2" width x 20" height
