Grain Sack Green & White striped Linen Fabric bag authentic hemp stripe textile European laundered

authentic A wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the circa 1920-30. This sack was hand woven with a twill weave and used for storing grains! It's a gorgeous homespun linen, with dense white and green stripes down the center. This grain sack has a heavy, floppy and somewhat coarse texture. The color of the body is a lovely natural mottled warm hemp tone. 100% machine washable, over and over and over. I have thousands in my stock! ~ These textiles were made to stand the test of time and are ideal for upholstery projects, pillow covers, bath mats, table runners, dog beds, curtains, lampshades etc! ~


MEASUREMENTS : This vintage grain sack measures 20 inches wide by 53 inches long ( it's double sided, so if using for cutting there are 2 panels that measure this!) ~*~



CONDITION : This grain sack is in as found, unwashed condition and can be machine washed and tumbled dry~ I like to add fabric softener to the final rinse for added softness ~
