Preliminary Playboy Cartoon by the late Roy Raymonde - authentic an original cartoon 1972-2002

This caption is type written and done by Roy. It has been stuck onto the paper under the cartoon. It is signed in Indian ink 'Raymonde Rough idea'

This is part of the Roy Raymonde preliminary series for Playboy Magazine between 1972 - 2002 and comes from the private collection that has been kept in Roy's studio until now.

It's in very good condition and the paper shows natural signs of aging. There are some pencil marks and the watercolour paper is Kent. Roy's old studio authentic address is on the back as all preliminaries were sent off to the cartoon Editor, Michelle Urry, in the USA for selection before being sent back.

It's painted in watercolour and using Indian ink. It's very vibrant still!

We recommend using UV glass to protect the cartoon from any sunlight.
