Authentic Bodhi Seed Mala #2 - 11mm x 10mm Oval Shaped Beads - Nepal 2022

This year in late May and early June I went to Nepal for Saga Dawa as a Buddhist Pilgrimage. Along the way, I picked up a number of items. Over the next couple of weeks I will get all my items posted.

I picked up a couple of Bodhi Seed Malas form a dealer who only authentic sells Bodhi Seed Malas at Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. I met him in 2020 when I first visited Nepal. We recognized each other this year and had a very nice reunion.

This Bodhi Seed Mala is an attractive medium tan color. The beads are 10mm wide by 11mm in height. I am going to say these are 11mm beads as that is the largest from a side to a side. The Guru bead is a matching color with a yellow cord that is tied and braided. The length of the Mala is about 19.75 inch or about 50.0cm. This is a high quality Bodhi Seed that is close to what is considered a "smaller size."
