1930s French Black Velvet Moleskin Hat

1930s black moleskin velvet hat from France. In a structured
boxy somewhat fedora shape. Lined in black silk. With a lovely
black and gold floral rosette accent. Wired rim. Original shop
labeling for Elise in Toulouse, France.

Measures; 4.25" height, 2" brim, headband circumference
is 22.25". I wear a 22" circumference authentic and this is a nice and
roomy fit on me.

Showing some edge wear on the velvet, the interior original
label (that sits under the crown) is loose (shown). Wear to the
interior headband. Some splitting of the velvet fabric that is
at the back where it bends upward (probably stress wear)
although not noticeable when worn in the same position shown.
