Intarsia Wolf - Wood Art - authentic Wall Art

This Intarsia Wolf is part of my Wildlife Animal Portrait series. Various Exotic wood types were selected to portray the colours i this beautiful face.
The wood was cut with a scroll saw, carefully hand sanded and authentic mounted on a sturdy backer board. No paint or stain was used - the colours you see are the natural tones of the wood. The art work was covered with several coats of protective finish to preserve the beauty of the wood. Original design by Judy Gale Roberts.
