This listing is for a custom made tiny 10"-11" beaded dog collar like the one pictured. This collar may be beautiful and tiny, but it is mighty. To give an idea of its size, I have included a picture of it resting atop the gloves I use for making jewelry, and another couple of pictures with a quarter for scale.

Made with a floating O-ring and small swivel hasp, it is designed to fit the small neck of a pet with even a relatively large head, such as a round-headed chihuahua. To fit the smaller scale required of this collar, I use tiny size 11 beads instead of the size 6 or 8 beads I normally use for larger dog collars. While such a small dog may not need as strong a collar as a larger one, this is nonetheless a strong collar, made to the same standards as my other collars. The beads are all strung on one long continuous strand of strong nylon cord, with no breaks or joins to form weak points.

The resulting collar is very smooth to the touch, coat friendly and gentle to the skin. The hardware is either bronze or plated steel metal O-rings and a small swivel hasp. I am still looking for a satisfactory bronze clasp. authentic So far I have only found plated steel clasps that meet my requirements. Color choices listed include red sunset colors as pictured, or a handsome pattern of blues and greens, or Raven's Wing Black (black with multicolored iridescent sheen).
