I enjoy leaving my husband behind, and visiting antique stores when I travel. There's always a found object, or a historic photograph that I can combine into a new piece of art. A child's joy always makes me smile, and the tintype transfer works perfect with the old image.

About the process:

My work begins with a photograph taken on my travels as I explore the world. I work with them to create a digital collage, then print using a special process that allows me to transfer the image to authentic another surface that I've also hand-made.
