Vintage authentic Arthur Doucette for JG Couture Dress

Made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong, this exquisite and rare vintage ivory dress by Arthur Doucette for J.G. Couture features an elegant banded pattern sewn with beautiful metallic gold threads for a truly royal look. Fabric design runs horizontal on the sleeves and bodice, which features a V notched neckline and defined waist. A-line skirt is pleated all around and flared for comfort and flow. Hidden back zipper with hook and eye closure. Dress is lined with slight discoloration from age on the sides of the zipper. No fabric label inside the dress.

Dress size: 8. Length: 42 in. Armpit to armpit: 16.5 in. Waist across: 13.5 in. Sleeve length from shoulder: 21.5 in. (Note that vintage sizing tends to run smaller authentic than modern sizes so please refer to posted measurements.)
