Three Piece Set of purple velvet jacket, gold metallic red and purple floral side flounce skirt with cummerbund style belt and cherry red strapless bustier
Guy Laroche was a famous high end designer. We have verified with the original owner that this was purchased in Paris while at a convention in the late 80's, early 90's
We have found variation in the sizes--so special attention to the following
Skirt--silk and polyester; metallic gold accents deep purple and red and fuchsia oversize flowers; Has a floating side panel draped to the left. Label reads F 40 USA W 10 J 9 GB 12. Waist 28 1/2; hip 40"; 23" long with 1 3/4" hem; 7" side zipper. Lined in black. Belt--4 1/4" wide 30" long with corset style button closure.
Bustier--in cherry red satin with peplum style bottom that is to be tucked in. Strapless and has stays. Label reads F 40 USA W 10 J 9 GB 12. Made of 100% acetate. NIne inch side zipper; 16 1/2" long; 30 1/2" bust; 28" waist; 9" bust to waist
Jacket--deep purple velvet with Four 1 1/8"round buttons, gold edging with red faceted plastic centers; Lined in cherry red. Label reads F 36 USA W 6 authentic J 5 GB 8; cotton jacket, acetate lining. Has thick 80's style shoulder pads. Sleeves are 22"; 18" long; 39" bust; 36" at waist; 17" across back.
Condition: Very Good-no holes, no stains. We have not cleaned this item, it was found in dry cleaner bag. We find no unusual odor
