Ammolite authentic Pendant

This Ammolite pendant is green and teal with a nice feathery pattern. The gem has no resin coatling and measures in at 27mm x 25mm, and is wrapped in 14K gold filled wire.

Gold filled wire is more expensive than solid sterling silver wire, due to the high content of gold in it. By law, the bonded surface layer of gold must be one twentieth of the thickness of the wire to be considered gold filled. Therefore, it is next to impossible to wear off as plating often does. Gold filled is a very good alternative to solid gold, as it has the same wearability and visual appearance without the exorbitant cost.
