A stunning vintage authentic cotton skirt, from 70s British designer Gina Fratini.

Made in England.

Fratini did a lot of work in the style of the 70s Edwardian revival, and this piece is definitely inspired by the delicate tea dresses and petticoats of the period. Its a very substantial and quite full piece, made with three layers of white cotton of varying thicknesses and slightly different lengths. The outer layer is a particularly fine sheer muslin, giving the skirt an ethereal quality.

In good vintage condition. There is a little bit of damage around the fastening (pictured) but otherwise everything looks very good indeed.
