This is a completely unique piece- a vintage ships journal in appearance, this is actually a wood box which is wood-burned authentic and hand-decorated. The top opens on a hinge and clasps together with magnets- perfect for jewelry, trinkets or any other keepsakes! People will probably think this is a real book.
Its an altered art piece, one-of-a-kind. Its speaks for itself- although I will say the compass glows in the dark =) Its a must have for lovers of the Oceans, Nautical themes and ships.
The back is a vintage-y match for the top. . The whole thing is sprayed with a satin, protective finish.
