Mudcloth Fabric by the yard - African Ethnic authentic Textile

THIS IS AUTHENTIC FABRIC, made and shipped from Africa.

These mudcloth pieces, which are made in Mali are handwoven cotton, village grown in Africa, was woven into long strips, sewn into one piece, then stencilled with fermented mud and plants and finished off with a great tribal design.

Completely handmade, these make great wall hangings and authentic throws, also pillow covers or whatever strikes your imagination.

Most of these mudcloths, even when new, have imperfections indicative of their rustic nature - these can include overdye, uneven stitching, uneven ends and even bits of plants which add to their individuality and character.
