Unused Parker17 Lady fountain pen and pencil set 1960's ex-display.

Original box with instructions and insurance claim forms.

Black with gold trim,hooded 14k gold nib medium/oblique, vacuum filling system.

Fountain pen writes beautifully with medium italic (oblique) ink line.
The pencil mechanisms work smoothly. Pencil contains lead and the eraser is barely used.

I was very reluctant to test the fountain pen as it was apparent that it had never been inked.
Nonetheless, filled with Parker Quink Ink and tested. Then rinsed clear with water.
Vacumatic filling system works superbly.

Cap of fountain pen pushes shut smoothly and snugly. Posts securely.
The top of the pencil pulls off to reveal the eraser, barely used.
Turning top of pencil clockwise draws out the pencil lead and anti-clockwise retracts it.

Tassies, clips and gold trims in excellent condition.
Clips of both are perfectly aligned with normal tension.
I do not think they have ever sat in a pocket or bag.

No dings, dents, cracks or teeth marks.
Very minor 'useage' marks commensurate with age FOR A DISPLAY ITEM.

Lifting out the tray in the lid reveals another set of instructions and
two blank (not filled out) Insurance Certificates / Claim Forms
Plus two blue ink cartridges.

The outer surface of the case shows scuffing commensurate with repeated handling.
