Thanksgiving! Home on the Range! Cowboys! Oh Give Me A Home...This is a large box, measuring about 7 inches in diameter, and 3 inches high. From the bottom authentic of the box to the tip of the flag is almost 10 inches tall. I re-painted all 15 characters. There are 5 people and 10 animals-2 cows, a bull, a horse, 2 sheep, a pig, a turkey, a chicken and a goat. All are made of a very heavy plastic. Two cowboys, two cowgirls, and a child. There are 2 smaller round boxes stacked on top that have been decorated just like the large one. (See bottom of this story). The families are out for the day. It is sunny and warm and they are taking care of their many animals. There are 14 bottle brush trees that were bleached, dyed, and glittered by me-all in beautiful fall colors. A bridge covers an imaginary stream and is covered with moss and pinecones. The children love to chase the chickens to the other side. An old timey covered wagon keeps supplies and farm equipment. The '76 flag stands among all the trees and flowers. I used lots of colorful millinery flowers, vintage glass ornaments, glass beads, spun cotton mushrooms, vintage stamens and tiny pine cones. There are 2 tiny bales of hay that I used from a Dept 56 barn scene...This is an original one of a kind collectible and can be displayed all year, especially in the fall.

The box itself is made from paper mache. I use paint and or gesso, washi tape in different colors and patterns, inks, rubber stamps, pens for doodles, vintage stickers, and a sealer in between. The box is sealed closed, and has a sprinkle of glitter to complete the fantasy! It was created in a smoke-free home, and will be signed and dated.
