Priam's Green Birdwing pair, Ornithoptera priamus poseidon, mounted in a Riker authentic Mount

Offered for sale are a beautiful and rare male & female pair of Priam's Birdwing, Ornithoptera priamus poseidon, mounted and framed in a 8x12x3/4.” Riker mount display case. These butterflies are in authentic A1 condition (perfect). The locality of this pair of birdwings is New Guinea. The common name, species name, and locality of the butterflies is printed on a tag on the back of the Riker mount.

Please note: a Riker mount display case is made of extra heavy chipboard construction with a black leatherette cover, and polyester filling for cushioning. The glass topped lid is held in place with extra heavy duty, non-rusting pins that are inserted into the longest side of the display. The pins and lid can be easily removed. The butterflies are not glued into place, and can be removed from the case or repositioned if desired.
