MATERIAL INFORMATION:
The material is very similar to natural suede, but is 100% Vegan, man made, called "Suedette" It is a robust material similar to that used in making upholstery, and has a nap very similar to suede too which gives it a great texture. You can spray it with suede protector, and you can brush it with a very slightly damp shoeshine brush to remove any lint that may accumilate. In instances where my hats are any other colour than the natural light tan I would have hand dyed the material using an acrylic based dye which does make my hats water-resistant.
I have had many of my hats purchased by seafaring and outdoor based professionals, who have been delighted with their endurance and robustness, and if your hat does get wet it will retain its shape, just ensure you leave it somewhere warm...ideally on top of an empty rum bottle to help the air circuate on the inside too.

I have been asked to create a black version of my Davy Jones Locker wrecked Tricorn, but just wanted to add a little variety, so it is basically the same design except at the right side I added a skull filigree brooch with a little sword hanging down, and made that the central point, and added shells around it. The brooch can be ommited if you wish, and shells just used.

This is essentially one of my very sturdy brown tricorns that I have customised using the following techniques:

Will fit loosely on a 22" head but will fit up to a snugger 24" circumference.
hats depth is 4"



Painting Gouging holes, making rips, buring, wetting,, making worm holes, applying layers of sea salt, oiling, airbrushing, aging, painting, applying shells, sanding......hacking up with a stanley knife, using a cheese grater most cruely, and basically getting Medieval on its ass...oh yes and
stamping on....which all helped bring this beauty forth from the depths of my mind...har har!

I tried to make it look like sea creatures had made the hat their home, and made little worm holes, and put shells in some of these. I applied a green algae coloured paint to give it some texture. Lastly as a finishing touch I also glued on some fresh real lichen, which over time will dry out and crumble off leaving just remnants....
as would be if it had of been hauled up from the ocean.

Overall I am very happy with the result of this new addition.

Would be perfect for any crew of an undead pirate ship or indeed perfect for a cosplay outfit of an undead pirate rising from Davy Jones locker, be it All Hallows Eve or other such celebration...

I cannot accept returns on hats, if you have simply changed your mind as all hats are lovingly custom made for each individual.
In the unlikely event your hat has sustained enough impact through a double walled cardboard box and padding to damage it during transit please keep all packaging, and contact me immediately.
Photographic evidence of both damaged packaging showing your address, and the damaged hat is required in order for me to make a claim with "Royal Mail" I will require the item to be sent back to me before a refund is given. Please also ensure that return parcels are CLEARLY marked RETURN as I will not pay for possible customs charges if this has been ommited, and the parcel will be returned to sender from Customs and Excise.
