authentic Here's a great little novelty antique figural tape measure in the form of a boot or shoe. It reads on the side " Three feet in one shoe" a fun message and pun on a tape measure. There are three feet of cloth tape measure inside the boot. The tape does come out and will retract back in. I did not pull the tape to the full 3ft as I do not want to take a chance of it not going back in. The back will pop off to adjust the tape, but again I have left the item as is which is in working condition.
It measures 2 1/2" long x 1 1/2 tall x 1/2" thick". The condition is pretty good for the age of the item but it does show wear with tarnish and oxidation but overall a great little tape measure. This would be a wonderful gift for anyone who loves to collect novelty tape measures or a great piece for the shoe sales man.
