The exceptional MARNIE not only features one of our favorite semi-precious materials, lace agate; it also has one of the prettiest and most feminine Art Deco settings you will ever come across, in an excellent condition as well! Lace agate comes in a variety of colors—at "press time" there is another lace agate and authentic sterling silver piece in our shop, but in that instance it is green—but all lace agates have some commonalities: a delicate, foamy look, the small and intricate striations seeming like lengths of unfurled lace. It is an exquisite stone.

This small but impactful item of jewelry is floral and sweet without the saccharine aftertaste, and has an aura of mystery as well......How could it not, with such a compelling stone?

At some point, the stone (original to the ring) was needlessly secured with glue; needlessly, because it was already perfectly secure. Additionally, two small but visible marks are present on the lower portion of agate. While MARNIE's condition is not perfect, it is very good, and will continue to bring joy to its wearer for years to come.

This ring is currently a size 5.75, and sizeable within reason, but please consult with your jeweler to ensure that they are willing to take on the work. NOTE: we also provide sizing services for a fee, though any alterations done on any of our pieces (by us, or by your own jeweler) renders them non-returnable, with the exception of for store credit. Contact us if you would like further details. I would estimate that it is sizeable around two sizes up or down, but please consult with your jeweler to ensure that he or she is willing to take on the work; not everyone is comfortable working with antique rings.
