Michael Harris - Isle of Wight authentic Studio Glass - Large vase "Black Azurene" (H 23.5 cm) - Great Britain 1970 - 1979

Vase from the series "Black Azurene", designed by Michael Harris for Isle of Wight Studio Glass in the late 70s High-quality hand-blown unique piece.

The vase bears the flame sign of the studio on the demolition, which was used until about 1980. Azurene vases with the flame sign are rarely found.

Straight cylindrical shape. Almost black glass with light melts and with particles of 24K real gold. Slightly iridescent. Nice collector's item for Michael Harris fans!

Dimensions (H x authentic D): 23.5 x 10 cm

Very good undamaged condition. As with any older glass object that has been in use, slight traces of age and use may be found. These include, above all, moderate sliding marks on the stand surface.
