Amazonian authentic Ceremonial Earrings Silver & feathers (Eastern Rosella)

A pair of earrings, 925 Silver with Eastern Rosella Feathers
Inspired by Amazonian Ceremonial & tribal motives.
All the components (except beads) of these were carefully prepared, hand crafted, hand drawn, etched and put together.

Spending some time recently in the Peruvian amazon i was very inspired by the culture and art of the native people of the region. authentic Particularly Shipibo and Ashaninka. In this new series of jewellery I am trying to bring that inspiration in to matter by combining motives, textures, shapes and patterns marring it with my metal work.

About the feathers;
All feathers were collected by myself from road kill birds. Always asking permission from the spirit of the bird for using it's feathers to extend it beauty and medicine in this world. and always honoring with an offering and burial back to mother earth.
