Up for sale is a really neat and very curious painting. The painting itself is a traditional seascape oil painting on artist's board no, showing a clipper ship in a stormy sea. It is signed "Fustra" at lower right and dated 1945. On the back, there is some written information that appears to have possibly been added later. It indicates that the name of the painting is "Im Sturm vor dem Wind," which translates to "In the Storm Before the Wind." It then switches to English to add, "Painted by Henry Fustra Me. ____ Sept. 1945." Unframed. The painting is in excellent condition. There is some very minor edge wear, including the slightest crinkling of the corners. Otherwise, no issues. Painting measures approximately authentic 16 inches wide x 12 inches high.
