IGALA/EBULEJONU FABRIC

The Ebulejonu fabric is an ASO OKE (ACHI in Igala language) is completely handmade and it also comes in WAX PRINTS that today by popular demand has become the national Clothing of the Igala Nation.

The Ebulejonu sisters was an Igala Woman Organizations that was so popular in the 90s while the Igala Ethics Group was in Benue now Kogi State. They designed these colours and Dr. Stephen Achema was amongst the first to support and promote them, he even got weaving machine and a place for them to hand weave this fabric until 2014, when the wax crept into the market and was adopted by all authentic.

The highlight of the great acceptance was when GABAIDU IDAKWO AMEH OBONI, wore it and endorsed it
