Chapel Viaduct , authentic Colchester, Essex, England Original Watercolour Painting

An original Watercolour painting authentic of the Chapel Viaduct built between 1847 and 1849 for the Colchester and Stour extension of the Eastern Counties Railway. It became a Listed monument in 1967 and is thought to be the second largest brick-built structure in England after Battersea Power Station, London.

Painted on textured watercolour paper mounted on board, it is by a good hand and signed by artist H.Kenway. So much the quintessentially English village.
