Antique Heubach Koppelsdorf doll, made 1901+ in Germany. This doll has a bisque porcelain head and shoulder plate. ("Dolly Face") Eyebrows and lashes are painted on. Sleepy eyes, which I believe are glass. She has upper teeth, painted-on lips and a small dimple on her chin. The back authentic of her shoulder plate is marked "Germany 275.9/o Heubach•Koppelsdorf". Her body is jointed and made of leather. She has a label on her torso, a which is almost complete. You rarely see this on dolls this old. It says “Rex Quality” in red. She is 15" long. Her arms and legs are attached. Both arms are very loose but this doesn't show when her clothes are on. Her leather body is a bit dirty, but I didn't want to take a chance on ruining anything. Her eyes move nicely and there are only a few spots of imperfections in the bisque. Her one eyelid on the right does not have the eyelid cover or coloring it should have.
