This is a gorgeous and colorful vintage Deruta Rooster made in Italy water or beverage pitcher in a chicken/rooster shape. This is a very creatively and beautifully made carafe or beverage jug that is hand made and hand painted. Great piece for the farmhouse or country style home. The rooster's beak is the spout. The top red crown is the opening. There is a beautiful loop handle behind it with blue lines across. The bottom is marked "Deruta Italy". The pitcher is made of ceramic pottery. The pitcher stands 10.5" tall and measures 7" from handle to the back. The condition of the pitcher is great with no damages, cracks, chips, or crazing.
