Up for sale is an antique religious framed folk art and craft from Europe. Estimated circa of early to mid 1900s. Artist signed J.V.D. On left and S. on right, perhaps a collaboration piece?

This framed piece of folk art measure approximately 14.75" by 10.5" by 0.75".
In wonderful condition for age. Minor nips on frame. Impressively well kept and preserved.

Painted underneath the glass panel with stardust silver in a shadow box manner. Unique method.

After investigating this piece further, we believe this was used in lieu of a crucifix or both and a faith tradition.
