Pink Poppy Pottery Oval authentic Platter

Beautiful authentic hand built pottery serving plate, intricately carved with blooming wildflowers and folk art borders. This particular method of decoration is called sgraffito, where an image is created by carving through a layer of underglaze to reveal the color of the clay below. The back of the piece is decorated with a colored inlay.

All items are made by hand, by me, from start to finish. As with all handmade items, slight irregularities in size, shape, and color are to be expected, and serve only to enhance the unique beauty of each piece. No two pieces are exactly alike!


Platter is approximately 11”x5.5” and is microwave and dishwasher safe.
