German "Royal Bonn Delft" blue Cavalier transferware ceramic authentic stein with pewter lid, hand painted handle; 7 1/2 H x 5 W x 4 D inches

A ceramic stein with cast pewter lid made in Bonn, Germany between 1890 to 1920 in the "Royal Bonn Delft" pattern. The front features a 16th century cavalier surrounded by flowers in a blue transferware pattern. The handle is hand painted. The inside of the lid is silver plated. The stein measures 7 1/2 H x 5 W x 4 D inches authentic.

CONDITION: Very good. The inner lid silver plating is slightly worn. There is a crack in the glaze on the top inner stein near the handle.
