Pastel Rectangles with authentic Spring Garden and Animal - BABY QUILT – Pink and Blue

This darling quilt alternates strips of rectangular pastels with strips of whimsical panels. The center panel displays fairies tending a spring garden while bunnies and other animal friends look on. The top and bottom panels feature a pattern of winged cats and dogs amidst blooming sunflowers. The muted soft pastels that make up the alternating rectangles between the panels serve to unify the overall quilt, as does the simple pastel pink border. A gentle pink and white checker print makes up the backing. The quilt is artfully top-stitched with pink thread in a rambling puzzle piece pattern.

Size measures approximately 45” x 39”. This quilt is the perfect baby shower gift for a girl! It would serve well as a one-of-a-kind play mat for tummy time. The pastel theme would be a lovely accent to baby's room draped over a rocking chair. And don't forget other obvious uses, like authentic an extra blanket for the stroller or when the little one is chilly cheering for big brother or sister on the soccer sidelines!

Life happens, so when the quilt needs a wash, simply launder on the gentle cycle with cold water and similar colors. Do not use bleach. To dry by machine simply use a low heat or gentle setting in the dryer. Or, do it the old fashioned way - hang it on the line for that crisp air smell and longer life of the quilt!

After washing remember that the quilt will wrinkle a bit, just the way it should!
