Beautiful hand-painted gold stylized flowers on white china, some flowers are raised on each piece.
The bottom of one cup is chipped, but still very useable. The rest of the set is in very good condition, commensurate with its age. It's amazing that the raised gold is in good shape on all pieces. I believe these were made in the 1950's.
They are marked Lefton China, handpainted, Reg. U. S. & Pat. Off. 237.
These make a lovely set for authentic a small gathering to celebrate any time of year.
I think of them as soup and sandwich sets, consommé ( or eggnog.
