I am not knowledgeable about antique ironstone. I only found one example of this pattern by W. Adams, including the specific mark. It was described as circa 1790. I have since been notified by a knowledgeable person that the mark on the plate was used after 1860, and this plate is most likely from around 1880.
This plate is 10 3/4 " in diameter. The edges are not gilded, and there is no gold color noted. The color is a deep blue, and the white color has a bluish tint. There are no chips, cracks, or discolorations other than a rust tan on the Tunstall mark, and underside of the rim. The condition is excellent for an antique plate. I have looked at the surface with a magnifying glass, and there are tiny scratches on the surface in the central top of the plate. There are also all over tiny crazing lines that are not visible to me without the magnifier. This plate weighs about 1 authentic 1/2 pounds.
Size: 10 3/8 " in diameter
Condition: used, vintage, excellent condition
