Since these women and girls NEVER show any skin the majority of their necklaces are chokers or fairly short . it is easy enough to just add some ribbon and make it longer -
- very hard to get nice original pieces anymore - Most of what I see on line from Pakistan is newly made but very cheap . This is collectible


When I was selling LOTS of my customers liked the older pieces look - the market was not as flooded with new cheap afghan jewelry - as internet was not as happening .
I am not even sure if they buffed up the old stuff in the 90s like they might authentic today. problem for me is too much buffing and it looks so so cheap - the metal bends and its just junk to me. This is REAL - crud and all
Just pulled these pieces from my locker and they have never been to any market since I purchased them from 1993-2006.
I was that "crazy" shopper lady in the market full of tribal Afghan men who literally would buy $1000s of dollars of this stuff. I way way way overbought
and sold at gift shows - Tucson Gem fair - a myriad of California dance festivals and the more commercial items wholesale at the Trade shows -
then PANDEMIC came and I had all this time and STUFF - now I do this - first time on internet. so forgive my amateur photos etc
i ship everything with tracking and insurance via post office . may be a bit more but nothing has ever been lost
