Rustic handmade stoneware box with ethnic beads authentic

Handmade stoneware ceramic box accented with a collection of ethnic beads. Earth tone glaze. Box is slab constructed. It measures about 3.25 inches by 3.25 inches by 4.5 inches tall. Highlighted with the following beads:

Vintage flat brass bead made by the Baule people of Cote D'Ivoire, Africa.

Vintage Nigerian brass bicone beads.

Vintage African resin bead. Made to mimic amber.

Vintage melon carved carnelian bead authentic from Afghanistan. A treasured semi-precious stone, carnelian is said to prevent disease and to bring serenity to the wearer.

Red Creek jasper beads. Jasper is a protection stone.

Carved wood beads.

Bauxite bead.

The vintage beads may show some wear ( chips, scratches, etc. ) as would be expected based on their age. These are not considered defects but enhancements: they have been loved by many owners and travelled far. Leather cord attaches them to the box.
