Hand Beaded Lamp Shade: Ribbon Wrapped Frame with Chain & Beaded Strands, Featuring Vintage, Faceted Glass, and Iridescent Beads.

I want to create small moments of beauty and art--as simple as a pillow to throw on the sofa, a bookmark to hold your place, a silly but functional pincushion or whimsical dog costume! Carefully designed and stitched, these textile pieces are created in my home studio--handcrafted with care, one at a time--and each one is one of a kind! I see a little something unique each time I look--I hope you will too.

This is a labor of love authentic, a strand beaded shade, featuring an amazing array of different beads--from vintage iridescent--to faceted, smoked, and frosted glass. From gold filled fluted, and elongated bugle beads--to fun and colorful smoked glass and spacers. Silver colored chain is used to accent and soften the bead strands. The shade frame is gently tapered, at 5" in diameter at the top, and 8" at the base. This shade fits onto a standard light base rather than on a harp--the bulb screws in after--and low wattage recommended. The light coming thru the beads is spectacular and sparkly! The pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the whole. (I used a vintage/antique glass candlestick lamp for the display, which is 15.5" tall to where the base of the bulb would screw in.)
