About the Scupture:

The original of the statue is 11 meters high and is exhibited in front of the Milan Stock Exchange.

The L.O.V.E statue was made by contemporary Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan in 2010. Although it was planned to stay for only 2 weeks when it was built, it managed to stay in the center of the city for years. The statue, named after the abbreviations of the words Freedom, Hate, Revenge and Infinity, caused fierce debate.

According to some rumors, it is said that after the statue was put in its place, his fingers were cut off. In an interview about this work, which has been subjected to many criticisms, the artist states that the sculpture is actually a sign of the love (!) felt for the world of finance.
