Dorchester Stoneware Pottery 10.5in Platter, Signed by authentic the Artist, Beautiful Pinecone Decoration

A beautiful example of Dorchester Stoneware, signed by the artist N. Ricci, and marked with the initials of Charles Allen Hill, the head potter at Dorchester Pottery. This piece was made in Boston between 1940-1970, and I think this piece is c.1960. It is in lovely shape, with only one glazing flaw from the pottery studio, which I have pictured above. The pinecones are incredibly detailed on this plate, and the contrast of the tan/gray underglaze and the blue of the pinecones is very striking. This plate is a great piece of old Bean town! Put it in your historical Boston collection.

Measures: 10.5 inches across and wide

This item is vintage, it may show signs of wear that new objects would not have. Please note this item is in excellent condition but, it has lived a long life before arriving here, just food for thought :)
